Where are the mug shots of drunk, hooker-loving McCain fans?

So asks The Smoking Gun.

Or does Obama have the market on these voters cornered?

You asked for a picture of a drunk, hooker-loving McCain supporter, you get a picture (and story) of a drunk, hooker-loving McCain supporter.

Y'know Capper, if you had linked to a story about a McCain supporter who'd actually been drunk and arrested for soliciting a prostitute, you wouldn't have gotten any argument out of me. In fact, I'd probably joke about it (as was the point of the post in the first place).

But since the article clearly states, in a quote from the police, "This is not a prostitution thing" and that the police believe "he was drugged," I'm thinking you either just don't read or at least hope that nobody else does.

Next.

Yeah, I know the feeling. You get used to seeing a Republican-related sex scandal in the news, and then the RNC comes along and what? Nothing. Such a let-down. I for one really appreciated the extra media coverage of the men's room at the airport, though.

I'm sure we can come up with all sorts of theories. One, why pay for it if you can get it for free? Perhaps they were all boinking each other. Maybe they just brought their pages and interns with them. Maybe they wanted to do it with only other Republicans, in the spirit of making more precious out-of-wedlock babies in honor of Bristol.

Two, maybe it's the fault of the liberal MSM. They're so sneaky, perhaps they're saving the stories for later. Maybe it's the fault of the liberal MSM for promoting the expectation that political conventions lead to an increase in sex crimes. To think they'd promote a sexy, saucy story just to increase ratings!

Maybe it's the fault of the Right. They're no doubt suppressing the stories to prevent them from hurting McCain.

Or maybe we can thank Craig's List for making it easier to find a hooker.

What, no criticism of the purported crime victim? A $1,000 Prada belt? Why is a single guy carrying around $4,000 earrings? $50K total laying around in his room? Was he nuts? Is he well-insured and filing a claim? Was this all a ploy to get more sympathy and more babes? (Assuming it was a woman.)

Judging by his use of the words "embarassment," "humilation," "date rape" and the way the police report says the woman "ordered" him to get dressed, one might come to other conclusions about the nature of what this guy likes when he's behind closed doors.

One of my first drinking experiences was when my teacher took us to a Reagan rally at 15 and the beer was freely given to us all by campaign volunteers who knew for a fact we were a high school class...

The Mondale rally was not quite as fun, but I paid attention better and am still a Dem to this day! LOL!
