A constant refrain from critics of Real Debate Wisconsin is that because comments are regularly moderated and abusers banned, the name of the blog is somehow inaccurate.
Do these same people look at the cover of Time magazine when they're running late for an appointment?

I don't. That wouldn't make a lot of sense. TIME Magazine is clearly (1) A magazine, not a device for telling time, and (2) about the times in which we live. Not about what time it is. In fact, "TIME" is actually a backronym for "The International Magazine of Events".
"Debate" is a less maliable term. All definitions involve the concept of opposing views. Fred's blog isn't just inconsistant with this concept, it embodies the concept's opposite. You couldn't really say that TIME magazine is actually about "not time" in the same way.
That month that Sports Illustrated talked exclusively about modular desk installment systems using ambient whale-sound recordings of the arctic - I wrote them a nasty letter that month.
