Group to stage climate rally in Shorewood

Shorewood — Residents who want leaders to "take strong and fair action
to reduce our CO2 gases" will hold a candlelight vigil at 6 p.m. Friday at the
intersection of E. Capitol Drive and N. Oakland Ave.
The vigil is being held in connection with the 192-nation climate conference in Copenhagen, organizer Gretchen Mead said in a statement issued Thursday.
According to the National Candle Association (yes, there's a National Candle Association):
A properly-formulated candle, whether scented or unscented, will primarily
produce water vapor and carbon dioxide when burning correctly.
Idiots.

FYI, I attended their rally... There were 7 of them, but no candles. I posted a few pictures.
Even a properly formulated protester should be emitting CO2. If they're not, they're an ex-protester.
I think the counter-protest is a bit thuggish, don't you?
